A graduate of Sciences Po Paris, Paris Dauphine, and the École Nationale Supérieure des Postes et Télécommunications, he joined La Poste Group in 1996. There, he held several operational positions in succession, serving as regional director for the Vosges, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, and Hauts-de-Seine departments.
In 2008, Patrice Idier became the group’s regional representative for Île-de-France, then served as secretary general and director of human resources at the subsidiary La Poste Immobilier (formerly Poste Immo).
In 2014, he moved to La Poste Group headquarters, specifically to the Mail and Parcel Services division as Director of Consumer and Business Services, before joining the Consumer and Digital division within the Deputy General Management for Customers and Omnichannel Operations.
