To be a key player in the just transition and to make CSR a factor of performance and of preference for the French people, La Banque Postale selects its projects. In terms of asset and project financing, La Banque Postale, since its creation, has chosen to finance exclusively the development of renewable energies, excluding any financing of fossil energies.
Since its creation, La Banque Postale has been committed to a process of controlling the environmental impact of its activities, in particular by measuring and reducing its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. After achieving carbon neutrality across its entire operational scope in 2018, La Banque Postale has committed to achieving zero net emissions by 2040, i.e. 10 years before the deadline set by the Paris Agreement .
Finally, at the end of 2020, in accordance with the commitment made in 2018, its subsidiary LBP AM achieved its objective of labeling 100% of its open funds eligible for the SRI Label.
In addition, La Banque Postale is committed to the energy transition by supporting all of its customers through green loans for communities, SMEs and SMIs and a green range dedicated to individuals.
La Banque Postale also supports individuals in the energy renovation of their homes with zero-rate eco-loans and "green works" loans, and in their eco-mobility projects with the personal green vehicle loan.
