La Banque Postale and CNP Assurances launch their first Infrastructure fund to accompany customers in the diversification of their savings
La Banque Postale and CNP Assurances have announced the introduction of their first Infrastructure fund, “LBPAM infrastructure Septembre 2030”. This fund has been developed in partnership with LBP Asset Management, La Banque Postale’s asset management subsidiary, and is available to their customers with life insurance policies. The fund will enable customers to diversify their assets and provide a new direction for their savings.

La Banque Postale provides financing for the refurbishment of the Normandy and Tancarville bridges
As the leading bank providing funding for the local public sector, La Banque Postale is working in partnership with the Seine Estuaire Chamber of Commerce in its project to refurbish the Normandy and Tancarville bridges. It will act as arranger, main financier and agent of a €180 million loan over ten years negotiated with CNP Assurances, LBPAM and three banking groups, contributing in the amount of €74 million.

La Banque Postale democratises the instant bank transfer with widespread free access to this service
In keeping with its corporate values of accessibility and responsibility, La Banque Postale has waived its fees for online instant bank transfers since 1 January and as of May 2022 will extend its use to all 20 million of its customers. At an exceptional meeting chaired today by Philippe Heim, Chairman of the Management Board of La Banque Postale, the Board of Directors of Ma French Bank appointed Alexandre Giros as Chief Executive Officer. He is a member of La Banque Postale's Development Committee reporting to Marion Rouso, member of La Banque Postale's Management Board, Managing Director of Retail Banking and Executive Vice President of Groupe La Poste’s Retail Customer and Digital Services business unit, responsible for the distribution of banking and non-banking products. He takes over from Alice Holzman, who is leaving for a new role outside the company.

La Banque Postale, which is committed to ensuring that its banking activities achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2040, is the first European bank and one of the first financial institutions worldwide to have its decarbonisation pathway recognised by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), a leading independent body led by four international organisations. In connection with its ambitious greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets and in addition to its exit from coal by 2030, La Banque Postale is also announcing a complete withdrawal from fossil fuels (oil and gas) by the same date.
