Solidarity and corporate sponsorship

 « L'Envol, La Banque Postale's campus »

La Banque Postale is committed to societal sponsorship in favour of education and equal opportunities. To this end, in 2012 it created the 1901 law association ‘L'Envol, La Banque Postale's campus’, which fully involves employees by encouraging their civic commitment.

This initiative has been supported by the Ministry of National Education since it was launched, and its partnership was renewed in 2019. Its goal is to promote the schooling of young, talented students from low-income families from around France, including the overseas departments. It provides individual assistance, from the time they start high school until they enter higher general, technology or professional education (skilled trades) and/or they start to work.

Envol has created two programmes, ‘general and technology path’ and ‘career path’, which aim to achieve common objectives by adapting to the specifics of the training courses followed.

The ‘general and technology path’ programme, which started in 2012, sponsors 60 pupils each year from high school (third to last year students) through to graduate level (with three years of graduate studies on average), in partnership with the charity Article 1.

The ‘career path’ programme, which started in 2015, each year sponsors 45 students who have chosen superior vocational sectors (catering trade, metal working industry, art and fashion), in partnership with the association ‘Réussir Moi Aussi’.

Since it was created, L’Envol has sponsored 783 students, i.e. six ‘general and technology’ classes and four ‘career path’ classes. In 2020, the pass rate for the baccalaureate was 100%, including 88% with honours for the general baccalaureate and 96% with honours for the professional baccalaureate. Since 2012, over 1,000

employees from La Banque Postale and the La Poste Group have volunteered for the mentors’ community.
