Elise Plaisant Mathis is a graduate of INSEEC. She joined the La Poste Group in 1995, joining Chronopost’s Communications Department as Public Relations Manager. In 2001, she held successive positions at La Poste in Charente-Maritime as Director of Communications and then as Sales Director for Mail, Packages, and New Services.
From 2006, she successively managed the regional communication offices (West and Poitou-Charentes regions, based in Nantes and Poitiers) for La Poste Group’s National Communication and Information Agency (ANCI), overseeing the group's internal and external corporate communications. In 2009, she established a commercial division within ANCI tasked with reducing the outsourcing of external communication services. She subsequently joined La Banque Postale in 2011, serving as Territorial Development Delegate to the Bank’s Territorial Representative (RTB) for the Île-de-France region.
In 2014, she was appointed to the Human Resources Department as HR Manager for senior executives. From 2018, she served as HR Director for the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) division and the LBPLF subsidiary, while also holding roles as Director of Talent, HR Development, and Recruitment, and later as HR Business Partner overseeing core corporate functions and cross-functional activities. Since April 1, 2026, she has served as HR Business Partner Director at La Banque Postale, responsible for retail banking, the BEDL division, and core corporate and cross-functional activities.
