A graduate of ESSEC with a DESS in finance, Philippe Maillot began his career 25 years ago as a sell-side financial analyst at ING Barings and later at an LBO investment fund. He then joined several financial institutions, including Dexia and Euroclear, where he served as director of credit risk and director of financial risk, among other roles. In 2020, he joined the La Banque Postale Group as Deputy Director of Corporate Credit Risk, and later as Director of Risk for banking subsidiaries and strategic projects.
In March 2025, he joined the Bank for Business and Local Development to lead a strategic review. He was appointed Director of Credit and Market Risk in the Group Risk Department in August.
