Guillaume Makowski is a graduate of Paris X University. He began his career in 2003 at Banque Hervet, in the finance department. In 2006, he joined HSBC, where he held various positions in the retail banking finance teams. In 2014, he became head of management control at HSBC France, before taking on the roles of Chief Financial Officer for Continental Europe for the BFI business and Head of Investor Relations in 2018.
In 2020, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer for the HSBC Group in Continental Europe. He joined La Banque Postale in October 2022 as Deputy Director of Management Control. In 2023, he joined La Banque Postale’s Development Committee as Director of Management Control.
