Bernard Hequet holds an engineering degree from ISEN (Institut Supérieur d’Electronique du Nord), which he supplemented with a specialized master’s degree in Major Project Management from ESCP in 2011. He began his career at Crédit du Nord in 1994, where, for 14 years, he served as head of the payments division and later as director of projects.
In 2013, he joined Société Générale as head of retail partnerships, then as head of the IT department. In November 2016, still with Société Générale, he became Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Crédit du Nord Group Solutions Center; then, in 2018, he assumed the role of Deputy Head of Customer Relations and Infrastructure Solutions for Retail, Central Departments, and Subsidiaries.
Bernard Hequet has been appointed Chief Information Officer of La Banque Postale, effective July 2023.
