Ana Catalina MACAYA VARGAS is a graduate of the Lyon School of Management. She first joined Société Générale in 2005 as part of the General Inspection department. After spending eight years there carrying out various assignments in France and abroad, she joined the Global Transaction and Payment Services division in 2013 as Risk Director for all of the division’s business lines (cash management, trade, factoring, clearing, and correspondent banking).
In 2016, she took on a sales role within the Corporate Cash Management France teams and was appointed in 2018 as Deputy Head of Payments and Cash Management for Société Générale’s international network. After spending nearly three years overseeing the business development of the Cash Management franchise internationally, Ana Catalina was appointed in 2020 as Sales Director for Payments and Cash Management in France, with particular responsibility for optimizing the sales strategy across all corporate client segments.
In March 2022, she joined La Banque Postale as Director of Transaction Banking within the Corporate and Investment Banking division. In addition to her duties, she has served as Executive Chair of eZyness (a payment and electronic money institution and wholly-owned subsidiary of La Banque Postale) since September 2022.
