A certified actuary, Marie-Aude Thépaut holds a master’s degree in mathematics, with a specialization in actuarial science, from the Euro-Institut d’Actuariat (University of Western Brittany—2006).
She joined CNP Assurances in 2006 as an actuary and, in 2011, became head of an actuarial department within the Technical Division. In 2014, she took charge of the Insurance Risk Department within the Risk Management Division, before becoming Director of the Subsidiary Supervision and Coordination Department in 2020.
In 2021, she was appointed Director of Performance Management in the Finance Department before taking the helm of the new Europe (excluding France) Business Unit on June 1, 2022, and becoming a member of the Executive Committee. She has thus contributed to the international development of CNP Assurances by uniting and leading the European subsidiaries and branches (4 subsidiaries and 2 branches), negotiating strategic partnerships, and developing the open model in Europe.
She was appointed Chief Executive Officer of CNP Assurances by the Board of Directors on January 11, 2024.
