Céline Barre holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Management and a DESS in Banking and Financial Econometrics from the University of the Mediterranean. She also completed the General Management Program at CEDEP in 2024 and the CESB program in banking management at ESSEC in 2016.
She began her career in 1997 as an evaluation expert at the European Commission in Brussels. In 2004, she joined the La Poste Group, where she successively held the positions of director of management control, director of sales, and regional sales director for La Poste Mobile. Starting in 2013, Céline Barre held several strategic positions within La Banque Postale and the La Poste Group’s Consumer and Digital division, including Regional Director (2013–2016), Director of Business Development (2018), and Director of Retail Banking Transformation (2019). In 2020, she was appointed Executive Director of the Northeast Network and Banking Division, and then Deputy Director of the Southeast Network in 2023.
Since January 2025, Céline Barre has served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of La Banque Postale’s Retail Banking division and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of La Poste Group’s Consumer and Digital Division. She is also a member of the boards of directors of Louvre Banque Privée Immobilier Conseil and La Banque Postale Consumer Finance.
