    La Banque Postale: Successful €750m Senior Non-Preferred Notes Issue

    In an environment shaped by the public health and economic crisis, La Banque Postale has successfully raised €750 million through a new Senior Non-Preferred Notes issue. The 6-year notes pay interest at 0.50% for the first five years and then at a variable rate if the buyback option is not exercised in the fifth year. The issue is in line with La Banque Postale’s strategy to increase its funding eligible for inclusion in the MREL.

    La Banque Postale fully mobilised for all of its customers

    La Banque Postale, a subsidiary of the La Poste group, has been mobilising since the onset of the health crisis to support all of its customers, especially the most vulnerable. For example, together with the La Poste network, La Banque Postale has set up a special system to streamline the French State's benefit payment process. It has also been supporting businesses of all sizes with the French government-backed loan scheme, as well as introducing special measures for local authorities and hospitals.

    La Banque Postale and the Groupama Group announce the closing of the transaction concerning La Banque Postale Assurances IARD

    Having obtained the necessary authorisations from the supervisory authorities, La Banque Postale and the Groupama Group announce the closing of the transaction covering the acquisition by La Banque Postale of Groupama’s 35% interest in La Banque Postale Assurances IARD as well as their extended cooperation in the areas of legal protection and assistance services.

    Creation of a large public financial pole

    The transactions relating to the creation of a large public financial pole have been completed today. Further to the announcement made by the Minister of Economy and Finance on 30 August 2018, this achievement has been made possible through the transfer of shareholdings in the capital of CNP Assurances from the State and the Caisse des Dépôt et Consignations (CDC) to La Poste, then from La Poste to La Banque Postale.

    The French Government, Caisse des Dépôts and La Banque Postale announce that they have signed a binding agreement regarding the transfer to Caisse des Dépôts (CDC) of the participations in SFIL’s capital currently hold by La Banque Postale (5%) and the French Government (75% of capital), excluding one ordinary share that the French Government will retain.
