The European Payments Initiative (EPI) announces major Polish and Finnish banks and consortium of twelve Spanish credit institutions join as new founding shareholders.
Today, EPI Interim Company, responsible for initiating the implementation of the European Payments Initiative (EPI), is pleased to announce that PKO Bank Polski (“PKO BP”), Poland’s largest bank, and OP Financial Group, the leading Finnish retail bank, are joining EPI as founding shareholders of the recently created company. Furthermore, a group of 12 Spanish credit institutions banks has also formed a consortium and are joining EPI as a collective founding shareholder of the EPI Interim Company.

As a result, the 8.375% CET1 capital requirement of which La Banque Postale was notified last year, applicable on a consolidated basis from 1 April 2020, remains in effect.

La Banque Postale se mobilise depuis plus de 10 ans pour le Téléthon
La Banque Postale, partenaire du Téléthon depuis plus de 10 ans, met en place plusieurs actions pour soutenir cette nouvelle édition, qui se tiendra les 4 et 5 décembre prochains. Des programmes télévisés dédiés sur France Télévisions et des animations locales sur l’ensemble du territoire dans le respect des consignes sanitaires seront proposés. Partenaire du Téléthon depuis 1987, Le groupe La Poste mobilise ses collaborateurs qui trient et acheminent les promesses de dons. Pour cette édition 2020, Le Groupe La Poste propose des opérations de collecte en ligne afin d’aider l’Association de lutte contre les myopathies (AFM).
Nomination Antoine Lissowski
On 1 December 2020, Antoine Lissowski, Chief Executive Officer of CNP Assurances, will join the Executive Committee of La Banque Postale, led by Philippe Heim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of La Banque Postale. Lissowski will particularly further align CNP Assurances with La Banque Postale, which has been a majority shareholder since 4 March 2020, as part of a mission to create a large public financial hub.
